In Denay Sky’s Acrylic Class for Beginners, you'll learn essential techniques to confidently apply acrylic nails and ensure long-lasting results. You’ll be introduced to The DAYZE Method, Denay’s signature breakdown of the acrylic application zones, pressure control, and bead placement. Students will follow along using a mobile-friendly presentation, available during class, plus take-home resources to continue practicing afterward.

This class covers:

  • Avoiding lifting and ensuring 5+ weeks of retention
  • Correct tip sizing and application
  • Perfecting your liquid-to-powder ratio
  • Understanding powder polymerization
  • Mastering cuticle bead pickup and product placement
  • Learning Denay’s signature shaping techniques
  • Apex placement + control of thickness
  • How to properly use an E-file + drill bit selection
  • Hand filing for clean shaping
  • Nail sanitation and client safety practices

Class Details

Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Doors Open: 10:50 AM
Location: Sent via text 1 week before class. May vary between Airbnb, salon suite, or conference space. Parents are welcome to drop students off, but may only stay if they also purchase a class ticket.

 

Class Options

Option 1 - With Kit

Texas Classes: Kits handed out in class.

Out-of-Texas: Kits shipped 7-14 days before class.


Option 2: Without Kit

You must bring all items on the Amazon supply list.

Do not substitute or forget items—no extra supplies will be available at class.

Student Requirements

  • Must bring a Cordless E-file + pen
  • Optional: UV Light & Topcoat
  • Must be 15+ years old with parent permission
  • No experience or knowledge needed
  • Eat breakfast beforehand + bring snacks if needed

 

Payment Info

  • Deposit secures your spot and applies to the total.
  • Remaining Balance due 3 weeks prior to class.
  • All payments made are non-refundable, no exceptions.

 

Rescheduling Policy

If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you may reschedule your seat one time under the following conditions:

  • Texas Classes: If your class is in Texas, or you're willing to travel to a future tour city on the official class schedule, your payment can be transferred to that location.
  • Out-of-State Students: If you are unable to travel to another class, your payment may be applied toward a 1:1 training session, but you will be responsible for paying the difference in pricing.
  • Reschedule Requests are not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis at Denay’s discretion depending on timing and circumstances.
  • If you do not show up for your scheduled class and do not communicate in advance, your payment will be forfeited and cannot be transferred.

To request a reschedule, please text 210-990-1660 at least 7 days in advance of your scheduled class date.

This class provides a Certificate of Completion only. It is not a license or diploma. You must attend a state-approved program to become licensed.
